2020 Summer camp

When the last spring rain drifts by,the summer of 2020 is coming quietlyAfter a special holiday, Let us understand the importance of protecting nature and animals. So we decided to bring one to our children relaxed, happy and environmentally theme summer camp.


Montessori Work Time:







In Montessori's working hours, children choose materials by themselves, choose freely, and turn them back from where they came. In the process of work, we see not only the development of children's intelligence, but also the creation of peaceful and undisturbed atmosphere, developing the children's respect for the enviroment, respect for people, and self reflection.

Children have enthusiasm for work, the freedom to choose their work, master their skills through repetition,use their umagination, to expand their familiarity, proficiency and cognition. These work habits are formed gradually and aid in the process of establishing good discipline, "discipline is not achieved through preaching". No one learns self-discipline by listening to others. Discipline requires a series of perfect actions to prepare, usually through indirect means. To achieve this goal, it is not through pointing out and correcting mistakes, It is achieved through a conscious work process.


Art Class:


In class we first discussed what ice is. Water (H2O) that is exposed to temperature at 0 degrees Celsius or less = the water forms water crystals, another term for ice.

Then we discussed ways how to turn the ice back to water. Put it in the sun, pour hot water over it, (basically different ways to heat it).

Then we discussed a different way, by rubbing salt onto the ice. Salt melts water because it interferes with the liquid crystals by breaking up the water molecules that stuck together when its frozen.

The child then saved ocean animals stuck in giant ice cubes by rubbing salt on the ice cubes.
